Twitter: Greater Value in Reading than Tweeting
Thursday, January 28th, 2010I saw this statistic that 83% of Twitter accounts did not publish anything in December. I don’t think that’s a reflection on Twitter’s value or popularity. Personally I don’t publish much on Twitter but I do find it a great resource to keep my finger on the pulse of what’s going on in the sectors I care about. By following publications and thought leaders I’m able to get a quick summary of what’s happening and find information I would otherwise not know about. Most of the time I don’t have anything of my own to add. That doesn’t mean that I don’t find value in the Twitter service, however.
