If you work a lot with people from different time zones I think you will also find ScheduleOnce (www.scheduleonce.com) useful.
It’s a free tool for finding a time for your calls or meetings, and also convert global times. Daylights saving time is fully supported - fully, meaning including during the time of transition - so you’re guaranteed absolute accuracy.

Hey, this sounds like a great idea. Don’t hide your software under a bushel. My company uses Lotus Notes and I find myself adding contact information there on people in my networks that don’t belong in my CRM software. But of course, it’s very alpha and isn’t linked to a calendar or other tools.

Go for it.

Not everyone uses GPG or PGP…and you cannot make them use it. That’s why it’s NOT easy to use. Solutions like Voltage SecureMail allows you to send encrypted messages to anyone using Identity Based Encryption (IBE), the next generation of PKI.

You can use it with Firefox, IE, Safari…any browser…

Messages are in control of the sender and the recipient…never stored on the service.

Great post!
I have to say, that Myspace and Facebook are my favorites as well, and the dispersal you describe is true in my case too.
What tool do you use to manage these networks?
I use 8hands, and I’m very pleased with it.
I think it’s great for ppl like us who have different friends on different networks.
