This is the personal web site of Michael Ridley. I am an IT professional (mainly UNIX system administration and architecture) working in the Northern Virginia/Washington, DC area. While I grew up out here, I lived in the Silicon Valley area of California for about 6 years, working at such interesting places as Silicon Graphics and as one of the first employees of the original Napster. This web site is just a collection of my thoughts and opinions, take it for what you will. For those looking for assistance with enterprise IT projects, or for those with less ambitions needs, I am available on a consulting basis.
