Rose McGowan
This is so parenthetical and unimportant, but I have such a little celebrity crush on Rose McGowan lately. This wouldn’t at all be noteworthy, except that I don’t do that whole starfucker celebirty crush thing. Well I had a pretty big pretend-crush on Alyson Hannigan for a long time, who I didn’t (and still don’t) know. But at least I had met her at a party for like two seconds once.
Anyway it’s been bugging me because I happened to catch a rerun of Charmed on TNT (laugh if you must, I don’t watch it..or..I didn’t..apparently I do now). I had forgotten that they put her on there after Shannon Doherty had whatever drama explosion she had. But anyhow, so I was watching Charmed and you know what I realized? Rose McGowan is adorable! So I had to get a Tivo season pass for it. I guess that’s about as much follow through as I have in me.
Actually I’m so pathetic I thought about writing her a letter (again, go ahead and laugh…I understand). But she apparently doesn’t have a web site or whatever. And I’m not going to like..look up her agent on IMDBpro or something. There’s a retarded behavior line that I won’t cross. Plus I have no work for her or anything, so there would be nothing to put in said letter.
But back to my main point- I don’t know what it is with me and TV witches. Apparently I have a soft spot. I suppose I have always been a Rose McGowan fan to a greater or lesser extent. I mean I saw Doom Generation. When it came out. Bitches. Fuck if I remember what it was even about. But I know i saw it. And I think I liked it. I should probably go back and re-watch that movie. I think Skinny Puppy was in it as well…and I like Skinny Puppy even if I am on more of a nomeansno kick lately.
