Yahoo! Has Acquired del.icio.us

Yahoo! has acquired the social bookmarking site del.icio.us. I must confess that I am not a big del.icio.us user myself, although I do have an account. However it’s noteworthy and probably will miss the “mainstream” press, so I thought I’d mention it here.

I keep my social bookmarks primarily in furl, although I do like the del.icio.us for: tag concept. Too bad nobody tags stuff for me. If you want to, though, I do have bloglines looking at for:mridley for me. So tag away!

    Furl is not getting updated any more, unfortunately. No new features there.

    Thanks for the link - I’ll check it out. It does suck that furl hasn’t had any updates in quite a while…it’s still such a great service though.
