Hm...well maybe it's worth a try. I mean, I don't know if iTunes lets you jog back and forth with a keystroke or not. Not as far as I know. Plus I'd like a little more "intelligent" behavior like allowing me to spin it slowly to shuttle through a few audio frames at a time, and then spin it faster to jog. Oh well. Worth a shot maybe.

The software lets you define all sorts of actions for it, so it's incredibly useful in a variety of apps. I don't know If what you want to do is possible with a keystroke then you can set up the PowerMate to do it as well. I haven't actually used it in a while so it's possible that the software has gotten better since I did.

cool thing gork!
I agree, the iTunes interface leaves much to be desired. If "shownoted" a couple of times using an actual iPod. The click-wheel allows jogging, after a couple of center clicks. It's still too clunky...

Does it work with the position in the track or just the volume in iTunes? Guess I need to do some googling, but this may work for me. Thanks for the heads up!
