The Mysteries of Google
So I wanted to find the web site for the Loudoun County Public Library and I figured I’d just google for it. Not feeling like typing all that out, I just entered “lcpl”. Sure enough, the first result was in fact the link I wanted. Why is that interesting at all? Well I hadn’t thought about it when I typed it in, but LCpl is the abbreviation for Lance Corporal as well. I’m a little surprised that the Loudoun County Public Library’s web site has a higher PageRank than all the pages with the Marine Corps rank.
Then again, who knows..maybe I’m only mystefied by this because I am awake at 9:30 AM on a Sunday morning and that’s a little early for me.
